How does the Pos-T-Vac Vacuum Therapy System work?

Answer

The system creates a vacuum around the penis to help the natural flow of blood into the penis. Most men will also need to use one of the support rings to hold their erection.**

Eight Simple Steps for Pos-T-Vac Use:

  1. Using water-soluble lubricant, the user will expand a support ring over the bottom of the cylinder.
  2. Lubricate your penis as well as the bottom and inside of the cylinder.
  3. The penis is inserted into the tube and the tube is pushed against the base of the penis and body to create a proper seal.
  4. Suction is initiated by either a manual or automatic battery pump.
  5. As negative pressure develops the penis is engorged with blood and an erection is achieved.
  6. After the erection is achieved the elastic support ring is carefully slipped off the tube and onto the bottom of the shaft of the penis to help maintain the erection.
  7. The plastic cylinder is removed for intercourse.
  8. Remove the support ring after intercourse.**


** Do not attempt to hold an erection with the support ring for longer than 30 minutes.
